- Partner (non-equity): 10+ yrs. Strategic sponsor; protects scope/intent; appears at milestones/escalations; manages executive trust.
- Principal: 10+ yrs. Owns outcomes and standards; leads senior staff; weekly client interface; signs off handover.
- Senior Consultant: 5–10 yrs. Runs the day cadence (stand-ups, triage, demos), integrates workstreams, and mentors.
- Consultant: 3–5 yrs. Builds/configures/tests; documents evidence for acceptance; full-time hands-on.
